The Art of Felting

Felting begins with some of the world’s finest sheep’s wool from New Zealand. Artisans scrub, rub, roll, and rinse the wool repeatedly with soapy water — an ages-old, labor-intensive process that bonds fiber into felt. Once dried, the felt is cut and shaped into intricate designs, with layers of color merged to create each unique piece. It’s a true labor of love, and the results speak for themselves.
