The Dots & Flowers design is painted by hand by women artisans in a small family-owned workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico — a tradition they’ve kept alive since the late 1970s. Meet the Artisans

Behind a large wooden gate in Guanajuato, women artisans hand-paint unfired ceramics while men work the kilns — as they have since the late 70s. There’s no sign out front, but every piece that leaves the workshop carries the personality of the hands that made it: the dots, the swirls, and the care baked into every brushstroke.

Each piece is handmade — minor variations in color, texture, and pattern are natural and part of the beauty.
