Each of these 2-inch soapstone hippos is hand-carved by artisans in Western Kenya from Kisii soapstone — a stone found nowhere else on earth. Smooth, satiny, and bursting with color, they’re the kind of thing that makes people stop and smile. Line them up on a desk, tuck one in a gift bag, or let them take over a shelf. They’re tiny but they have big energy.
