Single Boxed Hand-Painted Pillar Candle - Shahida Design

One candle. A whole world of color. The Shahida design — inspired by the Swahili word evoking the vibrant energy of an African market — brings bold patterns, rich color, and the spirit of celebration into a single hand-painted pillar candle. It’s the kind of piece that earns a permanent spot on a shelf, a mantle, or a dining table.

Hand-poured and individually painted by skilled South African artisans at NOBUNTO, a fair-trade company dedicated to empowering women in their community, this pillar candle is a one-of-a-kind work of art. The bold base color sets the stage, then masterful artists add the intricate Shahida motifs with lightning-fast brushstrokes.
