Kisii soapstone exists nowhere else on earth but the hills of southwestern Kenya. Artisans mine it by hand using shovels, picks, axes, and machetes, then transform each raw piece into sculpture through patient, skilled carving. This is a Fair Trade creation that pays living wages and invests in the communities where these artisans live and work.

Every sculpture is carved by hand from natural stone — no two are identical in color, texture, or character.
